Nonprofits in Bankruptcy:  Insiders, Donors, and Misconceptions 

Thomas Minick of Commenda Capital, LLC and Erich Durlacher of Burr Forman LLP will present Nonprofits in Bankruptcy:  Insiders, Donors, and Misconceptions, and will explore some of the unique legal and practical issues involved in navigating a nonprofit organization through the Chapter 11 process, focusing on their experience in the Chapter 11 and ABC cases of Family Christian Stores, one of the largest nonprofit retailers to ever file for bankruptcy. 

Our lunch will begin at noon at the offices of Gray Robinson, 301 E.
