Temporary Student Loan Forgiveness Waiver

CFBLA CLE Luncheon at the offices of Akerman - Temporary Public Student Loan Forgiveness, presented by Bob and Tammy Branson. Federal student loan payments resume on September 1, 2022. Now is the time to act. We will discuss the new Temporary Public Student Loan Forgiveness (“PSLF”) good through October 31, 2022, the $1.85 Billion Settlement with Navient Student Loan Servicer for deceptive acts, President Biden’s proposal for loan forgiveness and attempting student loan dischargeability in bankruptcy.

1 hour of CLE is pending. The cost to attend is $20.00 for CFBLA Members and $30.00 for Non-Members. This luncheon will be available via webinar to members for free and non-members for $25.00. Prices are slightly higher if paying by credit card to absorb the credit card fee. The deadline to RSVP is Tuesday, June 14, 2022, 3:00 pm.
